ETV = Electronic Throttle Valve
ETV = Electronic Throttle Valve:The ETV tables are only tables for the gear ratio of the throttle grip to the stepper motor that moves
the throttle valves (0-100%).
These tables are for the different driving modes (e.g. Rain, Tour and Race) for the ETV models e.g.
from Triumph, there are further tables for each selected driving mode, which operate depending on
the gear selected.
For the following description, the map of a Triumph Street Triple 765 was used as an example.
Stepper value 0 in the ETV table = throttle valves closed.
Stepper value 1680 in the ETV table = throttle valves fully open (100%)
The stepper motor on this model has 1680 steps as a step to open the throttle valves 100%.
Means: 100/1680 = 0.058 .. - The stepper motor can vary the throttle position to approximately 0.06%
accurate.
Special features regarding the ETV table-names of the Aprilia Shiver, Dorsoduro
and Caponord 1200 models
- Map T = ETV-table mode touring
- Map S = ETV-table mode sport
- Map R = ETV-table mode rain
Special features regarding the ignition-table-names of the Aprilia Shiver, Dorsoduro
and Caponord 1200 models
- I (T & S) = Ignition table mode Touring and Sport
- I (R) = Ignition table mode Rain.
F1 - F4 tables (main injection tables)
The values for Sagem maps, shown there are the assumed, sucked-in air mass in mg.
For Keihin maps, shown there are the assumed, sucked-in air mass in mg x 20.
The number behind (1 to 4) indicates which table applies to which cylinder.
E.g. F1 for the 1st cyl.
Exceptions:
For KTM 690 models: here F3 to F1 stand for different mappings (modes) between which the driver
can choose using the switch.
- F3 = for standard
- F2 = for performance
- F1 = for soft
For Benelli models TnT Sport, TnT CR, TreK1130, TnT Standard (05/06) and TNT R160.
And for the models TnT Sport, TnT CR, TreK1130 and TnT Standard (05/06), Map1 is the map for reduced
fuel consumption = reduced performance and Map0 for open performance and max torque.
For the TNT R160, Map1 is the map for operation WITH DB Killer and Map0 is the map for operation
WITHOUT DB Killer, Map0 is significantly richer and not suitable for operation with DB Killer.
The F-L table (F-L switch) defines when the table "F" is switched to "L" and vice versa.
The changeover is a) dependent on the engine RPM (1/min.) and b) on the throttle opening in percent (%).
There are 3 areas:
a) Map sensor area, only the L tables are used here.
b) Transition area, that is the transition from L to F table and vice versa.
c) TPS area, only the F tables are used here.

Stepper motor air valve controls amount of air to throttle inlet, to maintain idle or warm-up mixture when throttles are fully closed. System not used on latter bikes.

Manifold absolute pressure (the air
pressure in the intake system).
Pressione assoluta all'interno del collettore (pressione dell'aria nel sistema di aspirazione). Misurato dopo le valvole a farfalla, questa lettura viene confrontata con il valore di pressione nell'airbox (pressione barometrica) per consentire all'ECM di calcolare e valutare il carico del motore.
Sulle moto equipaggiate con ECM Keihin (ad esempio 675), il valore può essere utilizzato per regolare la sincronizzazione dei corpi farfallati in quanto è presente un sensore per ogni collettore. Le prime moto equipaggiate con ECM Sagem (ad esempio 595, 955) non hanno sensori di aspirazione in ognuno dei collettori, quindi richiedono un dispositivo esterno (ad esempio Carbtune) per misurare ognuno dei valori di aspirazione.

Short term fuel trim

A correction applied to the fuel mixture during closed loop catalyst operation. This, in turn has an effect on the long term fuel trim in that, if an engine constantly requires mixture correction, the long term fuel trim will adapt to this requirement thus reducing the need for constant short term adjustment.
Una
correzione applicata alla miscela di carburante durante il
funzionamento del catalizzatore a ciclo chiuso. Questa
correzione,
